Please read these terms before purchasing a virtual interior design package. By hiring HomeDecorifyIt, you agree to the following. I work with clients across the country and globally, and these guidelines outline exactly how our online design process operates.
How Our Virtual Interior Design Services Work
I provide digital deliverables only. This includes digital concept boards, virtual room layouts, paint color palettes, and curated shopping lists for your living room, bedroom, or kitchen. I do not purchase furniture on your behalf, physically come to your house, or manage contractors.
Client Responsibilities for Online Design Projects
My designs rely entirely on the information you provide. You are responsible for submitting accurate room dimensions, layout measurements, clear photos, and an honest budget. If a piece of furniture doesn’t fit because the measurements you provided were incorrect, I cannot be held responsible.
How Payments Work
Payment is due in full before the design process begins. Because I block out schedule time for your project and start working immediately, all payments are non-refundable.
Additional rooms or extra revision rounds will be billed separately.
Revisions and Timelines
Every full room package includes up to two rounds of revisions. If you need more, additional revision hours can be billed at my standard hourly rate.
Standard turnaround time is 2 to 3 weeks. I will keep you updated on the timeline throughout the project.
Purchasing Home Decor and Furniture Online
Your final design includes direct links to purchase home furnishings and interior decor from third-party retailers. I do not hold inventory, handle shipping, or process returns. If an item arrives damaged or is backordered, you must contact the retailer’s customer service directly.
Who Owns the Designs?
Once you pay for your design, the final mood boards and floor plans are yours to keep and use in your home. However, I retain the copyright to all design concepts. You cannot resell my floor plans or mood boards.
I also reserve the right to use photos of our finished projects on my website or social media, unless you explicitly request otherwise in writing.
Online Interior Design vs. Architectural Services
I provide virtual interior design and space planning. I am not a licensed architect, structural engineer, or contractor. If a design involves knocking down a wall, changing plumbing, or altering electrical work, you must hire a licensed professional to ensure the work is safe and up to local building codes.
Updates to These Terms
I reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time. If a major change affects an ongoing project, I will notify you directly.
